The annual Middelburg VÓLkoren Festival is the largest choir festival in the southwest of the Netherlands. During this weekend, Middelburg's city center is transformed into a musical playground where hundreds of choirs and ensembles perform. The performances take place at more than twenty locations in Middelburg's beautiful historic city center. All locations are within walking distance of each other and offer a varied program – from classical music to pop and everything in between. Admission to the festival is free.
