Schaatsbaan Middelburg
Van eind november tot begin januari verandert het historische hart van Middelburg in een sfeervol winterdecor. Midden op de Markt vind je de IJsbaan Middelburg, een geliefde ontmoetingsplek waar jong en oud samen genieten van schaatsplezier, muziek en winterse lekkernijen.
Trek je schaatsen aan en voel de magie van de winter terwijl je over het ijs glijdt, omringd door lichtjes, chalets en de geur van warme chocolademelk. Combineer je bezoek aan Middelburg met een tussenstop op de ijsbaan en maak er een compleet dagje uit van. Ontdek de sfeervolle winkels, knusse cafés en historische straatjes die de stad zo bijzonder maken, een perfecte aanvulling op een ontspannen verblijf aan de Zeeuwse kust.
Candlelight Evening on Christmas Eve in Westkapelle
On Christmas Eve, candles are lit at war graves all around the world. This year, this special tribute will take place in Westkapelle for the first time. On Wednesday 24 December at 17:00, participants gather at the lighthouse ’t Hoge Licht, where candles will be placed and lit at the war graves.
The event is organised by the Polderhuis. Everyone is welcome to help, reflect on loved ones and share this meaningful moment together.
Bike Light Tour Westkapelle
Experience Westkapelle in a magical Christmas atmosphere during the Bike Light Tour. On Saturday 20 December, a festive bike ride starts at 19:00 from the Polderhuis. Participants are encouraged to decorate their bicycle or go-kart with Christmas lights – the more lights, the better!
After the tour, a tasty treat will be waiting for all participants.
