The 34th edition of the ‘jazz&more’ festival in Domburg, Zeeland, and the surrounding area will take place from 17 to 20 September 2026. Jazz by the Sea is a popular event, featuring, amongst other things, a main stage and a Market Stage, a street parade and numerous performances in and around local pubs and restaurants. “A free jazz festival on the Zeeland coast.”

Middelburg’s ‘Night of the Night’ 2026 will take place on Saturday 24 October 2026 in the historic city centre of Middelburg. During this special evening festival, the lights in the city centre will be symbolically switched off, with the focus on the beauty of the night. The event forms part of the national ‘Night of the Night’ initiative, which aims to raise awareness of the effects of light pollution. Visitors can enjoy atmospheric performances, street theatre, music and art at various locations throughout the city centre. In addition, a number of restaurants and cafés offer the chance to ‘Dine in the Dark’, where you can dine by candlelight or in the dark and experience flavours in a surprising way. Over fifty street performers will create a festive and mysterious atmosphere. Admission is free.

Step back in time at the charming Dickens Winter Market in Veere. Over the course of two weekends, this historic town is transformed into a living scene straight out of the stories of Charles Dickens. Amid the historic streets and festively decorated facades, you’ll find dozens of stalls offering artisanal products, local delicacies, winter gifts, and handmade items. Visitors are immersed in a warm Christmas atmosphere with music, actors in Victorian costumes, and the scent of mulled wine and freshly baked treats. The combination of Veere’s unique historic setting and the authentic Dickensian atmosphere makes this event one of Zeeland’s most special winter markets.
