Middelburg Events is organising the 26th edition of Middelburg Classic Car Day this year, which will take place on Saturday 12 September 2026. Once again this year, the event coincides with Open Monument Day. Starting from the market square in the heart of Middelburg, with the magnificent Gothic town hall as a backdrop, Classic Car Day will once again feature the well-known scenic drives through the beautiful Zeeland countryside, followed by a concours d’élégance after each drive, where we will present the cars and their owners to the public. Every year, during the second weekend of September, thousands of magnificent monuments throughout the Netherlands are open to the public free of charge. The 39th edition of the VriendenLoterij Open Monument Day has the theme ‘Heritage and Architecture’.

The 34th edition of the ‘jazz&more’ festival in Domburg, Zeeland, and the surrounding area will take place from 17 to 20 September 2026. Jazz by the Sea is a popular event, featuring, amongst other things, a main stage and a Market Stage, a street parade and numerous performances in and around local pubs and restaurants. “A free jazz festival on the Zeeland coast.”
